FLYSCOUT

Support

FlyScout is made by Apptractor. Write to team@apptractor.dev, best from the app's Feedback (in Settings), which adds the app's version and your anonymous id so we can find your alerts and purchase.

Manage or cancel FlyScout Pro

In the app: Settings, then FlyScout Pro, then Manage subscription. Or in your store account: on an iPhone, Settings, your name, Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play, your profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Restore a purchase

On a new phone, or after reinstalling, open Settings in the app and choose Restore purchases, signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account you bought Pro with.

Refunds

Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their own rules: reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, and Google Play's order history for Android.

Alerts don't arrive

Alerts are part of FlyScout Pro. Check that notifications for FlyScout are allowed in the phone's settings, and that the alert is switched on in Alerts. A notification is sent when a matching flight is found, at most six an hour.

Remove your data

Removing the app removes everything it kept on the phone, and alerts can be deleted in Alerts. To have your anonymous account's alerts and records removed from FlyScout's database, write to team@apptractor.dev from the app's Feedback, so we know which are yours. More in the Privacy Policy.

Where the data comes from

Aircraft positions come from receiver networks run largely by volunteers, such as ADSB.lol (ODbL), and from commercial services; each flight credits its source. Data can be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and an aircraft that does not transmit is not there. FlyScout is not a navigation or safety service.
